OPENSPACE

OPENSPACE is one of the formats of our festival life.

Every year QUEERFEST provides space for different activist and human rights initiatives from St.Petersburg, Russia, and, since 2016, for initiatives coming from the post-Soviet countries. OPENSPACE is an opportunity to participate in the festival. Here everyone can organize a master class, aworkshop, or any other kind of activity expressing the main topic of QUEERFEST.

In 2016, OPENSPACE was filled by Teatr.DOC (Moscow, Russia), the cultural and enlightening project DOTYK (Minsk, Belarus), Association of the Russian Speaking Intersex (Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, the US), the Queer-Peace initiative group (St.Petersburg, Russia), the T-Action initiative group (St.Petersburg, Russia) as well as feminists and LGBT activists from Russia and Kazakhstan.
